Hi, I applied to Purdue for Mechanical Engineering and got waitlisted.
I submitted my app at the end of Jan ( 1 Feb Deadline )
Does anyone know what my chances would be getting off that waitlist? Purdue is my dream school and i was thinking about sending them a letter of appeal or something.

SAT: 1760
Toefl: 109
10th CGPA: 10 -> 4,0 GPA
11th 60% ( school conducted examination )

Lot of social work.
Hiker
Self taught graphic designer.
Excellent recomendations.
Essays: 9/10 IMO

Since you submitted your application so late, and your major is quite popular, your chances seem to be less. However, your SAT score and your EC’s are like mine, and I got accepted for a different major (robotics). Good luck to you!
