Class Choices :)

Hi! :)

So yeah, I'm going to be a junior next year. And I want to know what math and science classes to take. Right now, I'm taking Algebra II/Trig Honors and Chemistry Honors. My options for math are either AP Stats or Calculus Honors. And my science choices are AP Chemistry, AP Biology, Physics Honors, Regular Zoology, and Regular Anatomy. My science teacher told me it's a lot better to take Physics in high school instead of college because it's easier. But I do want an AP science class next year. Which is better? And I'm not quite sure if Calculus is better than AP Stats or if AP Stats is better than Calc. What to do?

P.S. I want to major in Journalism. If that counts for anything. :)

AP Stats will help your GPA out more, but Calculus is a far more important class. Does your school offer AP Calculus? Calculus is pretty difficult though; if you aren’t good at math, might wanna take Stats.

As for science, definitely do not take zoology or anatomy. I assume you’ve taken regular bio/chem already. I’d recommend taking physics this year and taking one of AP Chem/Bio/Physics your senior year. But, again, the AP would boost your GPA, so feel free to take an AP this year and push honors physics to senior year.
