Class Difficulty

Does your schedules difficulty when transferin mean....How many credits or like what level of credits such as taking 2nd year courses as a freshman or both?

If you are aiming high - OH YES IT DOES.

In CC, there is no clear distinction between 1st or 2nd year courses. Most of them are general courses that you have to take. However, you still have to take some lower division courses according to your major. For example, for engineering, you have to take MANY math (calculus 1, 2, 3, Linear algebra, Differential equation) and calculus based physics 1, 2, 3,4 and general chemistry 1, 2 + Organic chemistry 1,2 + some relevant courses like introduction to engineering, computer science... and so on. Particularly engineering is a very high unit major.
For others like accounting, business, art, history, English... you take more general courses but much fewer lower division courses (about 2 to 6 courses).

Again, the educational plan is really depending on your major! Well, the difficulty also depends on the major (i think engineering is harder than most other majors) and on the professors (strict professors grade much harder, curve/no curve...).

tru thanks alot guys but like....when advisors say how tough your schedule is or class difficulty, do they mean how many credits your taking or the level of which the classes are?

Does your schedules difficulty when transferin mean....How many credits or like what level of credits such as taking 2nd year courses as a freshman or both?

Its a combination of both. Having both 15+ credits and 2nd year major-related courses while maintaining a solid GPA would be looked up at.
Plus certain subjects are thought of as "more difficult" than others such as calculus and sciences ie. Biology. When courses like [Insert culture here] Studies, sociology, or other liberal artsy courses are generally not considered as being demanding.

ahh i see...thanks alot bro

Yeah... i also agree with FrddyGV's view point
In summary:
More units + major related courses (calculus, biology, organic chemistry or calculus based physics and so on) = more difficult

hehe you just reiterrated my schedule for the last semester :D
that makes me happy.

oh really hahahh how did you do then? Good or bad news? Man, taking so many major lower division courses at the same times is tiring as hell like drinking water from the hose ... i have done it once or twice and it was crazily difficult and luckily i feel so relieved when i take other GEs courses now

It went very nice. 4.0 nice :) Except for the workload in bio which was smashing.
This semester I am doing

Organic Chemistry II (H)
Phys with Calc II (H)
Calc III
Linear Algebra (H)

And I am still debating or keeping or dropping (before deadline) Differential Equations...

What do you think?

Man that is tough schedule indeed... you seem to overload yourself man...
Last semester, I finished physics II and multivariable calculus (cal III) plus an English class and i almost had no free time... luckily it was over and i pulled out 2 As and 1 B; i feel happy about it, though. :D

The thing is that if only take 4 classes it is 14 credits which looks wimpy :/

take writing seminar :p its a requirement pretty much everywhere nowadays

I tested out of english composition so I can't get a credit for it. who knew with me being non-native speaker and all. i'll have to take some writing after i transfer.
