<p>Which residence areas are close to, for example an Gen Chem class. I know that halls in Murhphree area are good but I don't think i will be able to get a room there. I was considering North Hall or Mallory....</p>
<p>During Fall 2013, all Gen Chem 1 & 2 lectures & discussions will be held at the Chemistry Lab Bldg (CLB) on Buckman Drive. The lab sections are held at Leigh Hall, immediately south of the CLB.</p>
<p>With distance as the only factor, I would choose Fletcher (in the Murphree Area) because it is the closest dorm that has AC. If you’re deciding between North & Mallory, I would choose North. The two halls are about equidistant from the CLB, but there are 5-6 buses that stop in front of Tolbert that go to the Hub. When you are leaving your dorm for class, you can just take one of those buses to the hub, and then walk the rest of the way. If you lived in Mallory, you’d have no choice but to walk the entire distance to class everyday, which may become a slight burden. Also, I’m not sure if you’re pre-health, but North Hall has a Pre-Health LLC that you may benefit from (I’m not surely sure what they do, though).</p>
