class drop

If, after I sent the Mid-Year Report, I dropped a class (service), should I notify Yale? Does the same go for other colleges?

I think you have to notify schools if you drop a class. Otherwise, it looks like you are lying on your application. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, that's what my counselor told me when I wanted to drop a class. I didn't drop it because it would have been a huge hassel.

Please do report your dropped class to Yale. It shouldn't affect much, but you might be asked to give an explanation later on. My friend did about his grades dropping dramatically, and he explained it and still was well received.

It's not a big deal, but please, notify.

I have a similar situation- does anyone know the process for notifying?
I'm dropping a service class, though I'm still involved with the organization, it simply won't be programmed into my schedule.

Thanks guys, for the advice!!! =D

To lacrimedellaluna, I just read somewhere that you should notify the colleges in writing if you drop a class. I'm going to write a letter and fax it to the colleges.
