Class emails

I love when the teacher sends out a class email to everyone and then someone replies to the class email and indirectly (and without awareness) emails everyone in the class as well.

These emails tend to be really personal and everyone gets to read about them because the student doesn't realize that you should email the professor instead of the entire class.

lol Does this happen with anyone else? Today, someone replied to a professor's email, in essence replying to all of us, and it was something really personal. I wonder what it feels like to realize a mistake was made and you can't rescind it.

My peer mentor from last semester told our class how some kid accidentally sent an email to the entire school instead of his friend or teacher stating how he had to leave school because he got his girlfriend pregnant. Don’t know how true it is, but if so, ouch.

People have to be careful. It hasn’t happened to me (thank GOOD-ness), but that sucks, lol.

All of our class lists in emails coming from professors are bcc’ed… so no, it’s not even possible for that to happen at my school.
