600 kids are getting their schedules changed, we were told by administration. Apparently our school didn't account for the new one opening up about 5 miles away so their class planning went wrong, and they are starting to merge some of the classes, and move, and get rid of teachers.

I.E
Four AP US History students lose Physics Honors, and they are left to take Physics regular or another science class.

I.E
Two AP World students may be subject to lose their science class too.

We also lost the main Law Program teacher, so it kinda does stink. The Law program pretty much may just altogether go away.

By the way my class only has 441 kids, so it's like almost like 33% is getting it done.

Yeah, our school has had a major issue with class leveling the last two years. Basically, the school district made a decision that there must be 35 kids per class, no exceptions, and especially in the high level classes this has become a serious problem. I don’t exactly know why it wasn’t addressed in a better way and why classes weren’t planned, but it is a complete fiasco. Last year I was almost removed from my English class, even though there was no way for me to take English any other period. (I flipped out enough that they let me stay). A month into the school year these problems are still not resolved. AP Language still has a class where someone will have to be kicked out. Some kids were moved from AP English to College Prep English, bypassing G.A.T.E or Honors completely. Some kids in the Calculus class were forced to leave, with no other math classes of equal or higher level left to take because the statistics classes were closed as well. So basically those kids might have no math. It’s pretty ridiculous.
