o ya its confirmed, for kelley direct admit, if u have 3.5 gpa or above and a 1270 or 29 act or better and u put business major in app. then its gud enuff, u dont HAVE to be top 10 %, its either 3.5 gpa or above or a top 10% rank. I just asked em and they confirmed it. gud news eh?

Also, how do they calculate grades? Is it all you classes on a 4.0(for the business school) or is it just core classes and honors and APs. Like would gym/health count.

um most likely, its the uw gpa including only academic courses of your grades in 9-11th grade. the uw gpa tat IUB regular admissions assigns you is the one they will probaly use to determine if u get direct admission to Business or not. im not 100% sure since imj usta student myself so u shudemail the kelley undergrad. admissions people and ask to make sure for urself. ya gym/health would probaly not count.

how can you find out if you were directly admitted into kelley?

Do they calculate the GPA with +/-'s, or just like regularly, an A=4, B=3, and so on.

They probably don't calculate the =/-'s. The admissions officers might be more inclined to take a B+ over a B- when they're evaluating though.

Kelley will send you something in the mail about a month after your acceptance letter arrives that tells you about Honors College, Kelley Direct Admit, and anything else.

thanks i will keep an eye out for it

I got into IU today, but I am concerned about Kelley. I currently have a 3.75(unweighted) and a 1350 on my SATs. When I called they told me that if your school ranks then you must be in top ten percent, the 3.5 is only for those whose school does not rank. I am not ranked in the top 10% of my class. So I guess that means I won't be a direct admit?

thats weird, i emailed the direct admit program director about the 3.5 or top 10% thing and he said it was either or, like top 10 or 3.5 or above.
