Class of '08: Kinda early, but any thoughts on where to apply?

Already graduated (Dartmouth) but knowing what I know now and having visited tons of schools on roadtrips, etc, here's what I would have. (Also noted: whether I had them on the list when I actually applied.

WashU (new addition)

UNC-CH (new addition)

Vassar College (new addition)

Remove from list (applied last time but would not now)

Columbia

Michigan (too big, like UNC more)

The reason for the changes? When I applied (1998) I was able to use Northwestern as a safe match; I don;t think this is possible anymore so I would have to back up my bet with a bunch of other schools. Also, I think you need to apply to more schools given the increase in selectivity at most schools. Finally, when I applied to college I only really looked at more urban schools, I now realize that I had the most fun and felt the best about more campus-focused schools with an active social environment.

I just got off the phone with three colleges and set up overnight stays, attending classes, meeting with profs, campus tours, and interviews (member of the class of '08). This is all in the last week of March into the first week of April.

This list is subject to change, but I am focusing more on Europe. USA is just too freaking expensive: I'll apply for financial aid, even though I think I'll end up going to Europe (my parents can't afford a 35,000$ tution). Might also add some Swiss or Belgian universities to the list, add one or two more for the UK (I don't think I'll even end up applying to Oxford, 99% change I won't get in, and even if I did, I don't think I want to go there).
