hahaha
i wanna stay in balch for sure
still deciding between single and double
they both have good and bad sides...
ahh so hard to decide!

so many decisions to make...
what to wear for orientation + first few days
how to make a good impression to profs in human ec
what to put in my dorm

and i also find it pointless going to high school
for the next semester...cuz our school
gives craploads and its hard to chill
i wish i could drop some of my classes
for study hall or something :/

Wow, I'm so jealous Spanks! We just have our AP teachers trying to bribe us with all the potential credit we could earn in May if we don't slack now. I guess they have a point, but I go out virtually every school night anyway..

Well, the teachers aren't really letting us slack...but it has gotten to the point where none of the kids care and the less respected teachers are pretty helpless

Why should we care about finals though? We could work hard so we can blow off 5-6 hours at the end of the year OR we could slack for the whole semester and then spend a few hours taking a test that doesn't even matter....

its so weird...if feels as though all my AP teachers are giving us more work than the beginning of the year and now so many seniors have been accepted to college...i guess they want to see us suffer.

It's funny...my AP classes are easier than my non-AP's. I have A's in my two AP classes and B's in my two accelerated (regular) classes. Basically, the finals I'm going to be exempt from are for the classes I'm taking AP exams in.

My teachers are the same way.. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how much this AP credit pays off.. From what I can see I have 8 credits from junior year because they don't accept Human Geo and I can't figure out what they give for biology. (But with my major I don't think I'll be using it anyway lol)

well ya'll luckie ducks for having that kinda system
all our teachers are like OOH DON"T GET THAT SENIORITIS DISEASE
and I"M GOING TO CALL/WRITE UR SCHOOL IF YOU SLACK OFF
and if we juss doze off in class a lil or even be a lil tardy, eh, like i always do
they are all like THERE SHE GOES, ANOTHER VICTIM OF SENIORITIS
so...i wish i could transfer for a semester lol
to a public school :P

not all public schools are like that loves it, at my school in my ap classes the teachers won't back off a bit, we wanted to have an easy class the day before winter break, like a winter party type, just to relax, b/c it has been non stop work, and all of my ap teachers said no, and that there will be time to break in may after the AP exams, also I got screwed with the hardest AP English teacher, her average is a C, the other two AP teachers averages are a B+ and A, we also don't get to skip the final if we get an A in the class, and last year in AP stat, my stat teacher had us working on new stuff even after the AP exam, I wish my school was as easy as some of you

hahaha at our school we can't even dare to ask, not even if the non AP classes
we actuallly had a french test on the last day
but psquared, i'm sorry to hear that the average is a C,
what a horrible teacher! that's evil...

at our school the grading system is like:
94-100: A
84-94: B
and then i'm not sure about C
but yea...so basically if you get
a few wrong on your tests, and
getting one or two marks off on an assignment,
we really worry about receiving a B

eh our AP teachers are crazy... supposedly they can be tougher before before because the "regular teachers will let us slack off". so i, with 5 AP's and no regular classes except gym, end up taking like 3 tests and handing in 2 papers right before break. ugh.

at one of my old high school, taking honors meant that an A was 80-100 was an A, 67-79 was a B, i dunno what a C was. AND, it was a point system (meaning say total points you could get that semester in that class was 100, you just needed to accumulate 80 points and you will get an A, regardless of anything) so tests were worth 3 points (can retake it twice) quizzes were worth 1 point (you either got the point or you didn't) i think we had a research project worth 10 points, but i didn't do it because by the end of the semester, i had gotten the 80 points, and just slacked off. it was great. too bad that was my freshman year high school and not my senior year high school.

Wow I never heard of anything like that! Our school is just 90-100 A, 80-89 B, and so on. No pluses or minuses either. Definitely in for a change at Cornell!
