Class of '10

Any of yall on here? I'll be sending in my intent to enroll soon, and then I'll have to decide on housing and all that. Any recommendations? Does anyone know which dorms have male and female rooms next to each other? I know some separate by floors and wings. But, you know, I would like even closer male contact considering I've been going to a private, all girls Catholic school for the past four years. :)

Anyways. I'm from Houston, Texas. What about yall?

I'll be class of 2010 too, I'm from Cali though
Any information anyone has on the halls would be much apresh

I'll be there next year too, I'm from CO.
Most of the halls aren't that different from each other, Williams Village is the furthest from campus but there is a bus, the dorms at Kittredge are a little bit smaller than the rest but not dungeons. I have no idea what the layouts are as for male/female, I'm pretty sure most just have alternating wings, could be wrong though. Check the housing website, they should have all of that good stuff on there.

I'm pretty sure all floors of all dorms are co-ed, excluding the first floor which is always all guys for saftey reasons.

Yeah, I definitely checked out the website, but it's pretty general. I think I'm going for Farrand. Which colleges are yall in? I'm in Arts & Sciences.

Farrand is an awesome dorm, I know a ton of kids who were there their first year and they loved it. I'm in Arts & Sciences too, I'll be majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology. You?

I'm in the college of arts and sciences too. I also requested ferrand as my dorm

Lately I've been thinking about international affairs, political science, or psychology. Or maybe I might end up transferring to Leeds. Who knows.

yeah im still debating whether to go... my other choice is UW... But if im going, im in Leeds... so ill let u guys know--- any recommendations concerning my two choices ?

If you're refering to U of Washington, honestly that is a better and more prestigeous school than Boulder, however, its also in a big city and it won't have as much of a college feel as Boulder does. Personally I don't really like the city of Seattle too much, too pretentious, stuck up, and of course contantly raining. Boulder is a beatiful hippy city with awesome weather and even awesomer skiing. It all comes down to personal choice though, visit both and see which you like best.

yeah, thanks for your thoughts.... i am going the following weekends and see myself around--- i think i will like boulder better cuz of the settings, as I am from switzerland myself, and love skiing over everything, but then again i think wash, like you said will be more challenging, although i heard the leeds school supposed to be pretty good...
