Class of 11: What's your senior year schedule looking like?

LOL I FEEL LIKE A FAILURE.

AP Lit
AP Psychology
Physics H
Chemistry I H (I got a B, am retaking D:)
Gov H
Trig/Stats
Personal Finance

The classes I really wanted to take this year since sophomore year was discontinued last year due to budget cuts. I AM SO ANGRY.
And it seems like a lot of people here have so much more variety in APs :(

aha damn, why is everyone on here so smart?
here’s mine
AP Microeconomics
AP Government & Politics
AP Psychology
Brit Lit/Sci-Fi
Polar Bear Gym/Lunch
Video Technology & Production Level 2
College Pre-Calculus
AP Biology
AP Biology Lab/Physics Lab
Physics

I smell a tough time up ahead.

By the way guys, I just started a new blog. I’d love it if you guys would check it out/subscribe to it.
[My Road to Becoming a Doctor](http://myroadtobecomingadoctor.blogspot.com/)

I think it depends on how scheduling works at each school and how many AP’s are offered. It wouldn’t be possible to have nearly as many AP’s at my school as what many CCers here have. You couldn’t possibly fit it into the schedule.

AP Calc AB
AP Bio
AP Lit
AP Gov
AP Spanish

Reason for lack of EXTREMELY tough courses? This years schedule… AKA I’m dying with the 2 sciences lol. I also want to get more involved with my ECs after watching a certain club fail this year because seniors didn’t have time to devote to it. Besides, colleges can’t say that’s not a tough enough courseload.
AP US
AP Lang
AP Chem
AP Physics B
Math 12H (AKA honors precalc)
Spanish 4H (Such a joke)

EDIT: Forgot Chorus and Science Research both years

probably going to be…

AP Calc BC
AP Bio

Research
Health (need it to graduate)

AP Stat
AP Lit
AP US Govt
Microecon (school doesn’t offer the AP)
AP French
Phys Ed (requirement)

I guess I’m somewhere in the median of CCers :)

all you guys are crazy mofos

-AP us gov
-AP lit
-AP psych
-pre-calc
-regular physics
-art (1 semester per class, for both semesters, it’s required to graduate)

senior year= smooth sailing mugssss

and to not look like a complete failure, i am finishing up French 4 this year

IB English HL
IB History HL
IB Math Studies SL
IB Chem HL
IB TOK

Constitutional Law

AP Calc AB
AP English Lit
AP Physics
Honors Hawaiian 4
Honors Economics
Competitive Math
Beginning Orchestra (performing arts grad. requirement)

I can’t understand how people here can take so many AP courses :P

I’m sorry did that say Honors Hawaiian?
For one, you have a hawaiian class?
and two, you have an Honors hawaiian class?
strange haha

@nwgolfer321: Maybe 'cause he lives in Hawaii? Haha.

AP Chem
AP Statistics
AP English and Composition
Government
Business, Finance, and Law

and something else. Finishing AP Calc AB/BC this year, AP Physics, Adv Chem, AP World History will be done as well. So yeah. Shouldn’t be as hard which is good as I want a chill yet challenging senior year.

Junior year has been brutal so far…

Wow! Kicks my butt! lol…
we’ll if ya’ll can handle it…
My philosophy: Take what you enjoy, and if a school rejects you, it’s their loss, not yours.

AP English Lit.
AP Gov
AP Calc AB/BC (don’t know if I’m qualified for BC yet)
AP Bio/Physics (whichever is offered, school is really small)
AP Spanish
AP Environmental Science (possibly)

So, it’s easy to see that I’m not certain lol, but by May it should become more clear

We do need a slogan, but I can’t think of that’s really better than “sen10rs.”

French 5
AP Euro
AP Lit
AP Gov/AP Micro (one semester each)
Journalism 3
AP Computer Science
Physics

Everyone here has really intense schedules :(. I hate that I’m going against you all for college applications! D:

Anyway, my senior schedule is REALLY undecided. The classes I’m most unsure about is AP CompSci and Physics.

I need advice on my schedule, so if anyone is bored enough to help me, read below please! Any help is appreciated x2901489105. :</p>

So my Junior year schedule is really crappy (TECHNICALLY I only have 5 classes, four of which are AP and 1 is journalism… the sixth is TA…) because the associate principal decided to mess it all up, and I just had to suck it up. I’m taking Art History concurrently at a community college, but I don’t think that really makes up for how bad it is.

Because of that, I’m really worried about the classes I’m taking senior year. I’m not the biggest fan of math (I’m taking Calc AB right now) and I don’t want to take one next year and would prefer to take AP CompSci, since it’s supposed to develop skills for a major in Philosophy. But I’m conflicted about CompSci because I’m scared I won’t do well, and technically it doesn’t count as a math and I’m thinking it wouldn’t count towards the recommended four years of math at most upper-privates?

Now for Physics. I don’t want to take Physics, I actually wanted to take it Junior year, but I couldn’t due to the wonderful counseling office at my school. My question is, is it that bad to not take sciences? I’m planning to take Environmental Science this summer, but I’m not sure if that makes up for not taking Physics, since Biology, Chemistry and Physics are considered the three main sciences.

Obviously, my troubles lie in the maths and sciences. It’s not that I don’t do well in them, but it’s that I don’t enjoy them. If I were to not take either AP Compsci or Physics, I would either take AP Psychology and Drawing and Painting, or just AP Psych, depending if my school decides to allow me to take 7 classes.

In the event that my school only allows me to take 6 classes, should I take AP CompSci or Physics? Or should I not take either and just take AP Psychology?

If it helps, here’s my junior year schedule:
AP French 4
AP Lang
AP Calc AB
AP U.S History
Journalism
Teacher’s Aide (>:O)

So far I’ve taken 4 years of math (I took Algebra II in the summer) but I’m not sure if that counts? and “technically” 4 years of French, since I skipped French 3.

Help, please? :frowning: My scheduling appointment is on the 20th!

AP English Lit
AP Chem
AP Economics
College Calc III (it’s a distance learning class… from a university located near where I live- I’m already taking AP Calc this year)
Anatomy
Theory of Knowledge
Office Aid

I’m in AP Bio, AP Calc, AP Language, AP Psych, and AP USH this year… so hopefully that will be enough AP classes to get me in to college. :)
