Class of 2006

How many SAT IIs are you guys planning on taking? So far, the only college that I have seen that requires 3 along with the new SAT is Harvard. Everything else I have looked at requires 2 + New SAT. Are they any other colleges you know of that require 3?

I should have 4 by the time I start applying (Chem, IIC, Writing, Bio). I can't think of any other colleges offhand that specifically require 3, but better safe than sorry, right?

probably 5... chinese chem iic bio physics

Bio, Chem, Math Ic, Math IIc, Physics ... hmm should probably take a humanities too, but for now, 5

They only want 2 though

MIT requires 3, doesn't it? Math, Science, third of your choice.

Why would you take so many if the college only asks for 2?

I'm not sure if some places will still accept Writing (for whatever odd reason) so I'm taking an extra one to be sure I have 3.

does anyone know if you can avoid sending SAT II scores, or do they have to be sent to colleges?

I believe it's all or none.

Yeah. If you send your SAT I score, your SAT II scores will also be on your report, and vice versa.

IIC, physics.. and.. hmm chem or mandarin..

thanks for the clarification guys. i'm going to definetely take math 2 and chem, i'll decide about us history when i get closer to the exam i suppose.

bio, chem, and math 2c
