21% ivy is not that high.

That doesn't indicate preferences. Who knows. . . maybe Penn simply admitted more than Pton did. . . ever think about that? Maybe the Penn kids are the Pton waitlistees or rejectees. But I'm not saying that. I'm just saying you need to consider the opposite possibilities and everything else in between and realize that your arguments don't make sense.

No wonder I've never heard of Kent Place. It's all girls and a day school. The more famous one is in CT, called Kent, boarding, and coed, kind of like Hotchkiss and Taft, etc.

I would bet 2005 Penn headed higher

baba, I think I now know what your problem is, you were not accepted by Columbia and Stanford. You are finding ways to prove to yourself that Penn is as "prestigious"(whatever that is) as Columbia and Stanford by showing all these useless data.

If you can't see Penn for the good school that it is, then I am sorry for you, and I am also glad that you are not going to Columbia. I believe Columbia admit only students who realize how much they will benefit from Columbia's education without comparing it to how prestigious it looks relative to other schools.

Don't feel bitter that you did not get in; you are not what Columbia was looking for.

oh god can we stop this.. this is a columbia board!!!!

"I would bet" baba

You use this as an argument. However, I can see that by betting you realize you have no real argument. baba, there is no betting. Stop this.

By the way, following your argument, in the post of Winsor. . . your logic indicated that Colby is equally prestigious as Penn and, by one person, more prestigious than Columbia. Do you honestly see no problem with your logic?

baba, this is embarrassing. stop.
