Class of 2009 Where Are You Applying?

So now that we've seen the class of 2008 have all the fun, it's our turn!

Since 2008 can now relax, according to the 2009th law of thermodynamics, we have to take up the stress. :D

I guess the first step is: where are you applying?
(If you know, put ED/EA/SCEA etc. in parentheses)

Oops forgot to put myself down. Um, these are tentative so I'm probably gonna get rid of a few - I wanna get it down to about 8, 9 max

Johns Hopkins (ED) (Only school i care about and is considered good match for me)
Caltech (EA)
MIT (EA)

and dont care about RD, my back up is MBBS (Medical Bachelors with Bachelors in Surgery 5 year program in india) oo and i got safeties as USC,UCLA, UC-B (yah its possible, i already checked with 5 relatives that go there lmao)....

Well, my first choice is pretty much Pomona, but my mom wants me to stay within the Midwest (I live in a suburb of Chicago). So we'll see how that goes. (I'm also interested in Haverford and Swarthmore, if she'll let me apply.)

Reaches: Pomona, Swarthmore, Haverford, UChicago (maybe. I'm not quite sure if I'd really fit.)

Better chance: Earlham, Grinnell (though it's getting tougher!), Carleton, Macalester, Kenyon, Oberlin (again, I'm not sure I'll fit, but for completely different reasons)

As for "safeties," I'm looking at Knox, Kalamazoo, and Augustana (IL). I'll probably pick two.

My D's list till now

Reaches:

I havn't quite sorted out my reaches from my marches yet, and I am nowhere near being certain of my list, but here ix what I have so far:

Swarthmore (toying with applying ED at the moment, but I'm so indecisive that that would probably be a bad idea, and I'll probably flip to being more interested in another in a few hours)

Wellesley (EE)
Middlebury
Barnard (?)
Williams
Pomona
Also considering: Carlton, Macalester, Oberlin, Scripps, UC Berkley
