thanks jtran10. where else did you apply?

My son got 3500.00 per year, I thought that was low. But when I went to the freshman scholarship page on the UV website, I find that most of the scholarship money is based also on need. So until the fafsa is completed, you probably will not hear. Also one scholarship needs a seperate application. 3500.00 is max on the presidential scholarship.

Radar - fyi, its UVM, not UV. UVM Latin for universidad verde mont or semtohying like that (university of the green mountains).

Elyse- I applied to Virgina Tech, UConn, Clemson, UVM and URI. UVM cause I get an auto-in, URI cause my mom made me. My top two are VT and UConn right now.

were any of you guys "forbidden" when you went to the website to check status today by any chance???

I also applied to UVM Early Action and am counting down the days right now its a little less than 6 days, I cant wait till friday. I have a 3.0 GPA and 1140SAT 560math 580verbaland Key Club(volunteer group) first 2 years, Church volunteering, Ski Club all of highschool, rowed for highschool team 4 years, rowed club competivitly last summer. Hopefully I'll get in its my #1 choice.

I lost my password/login to the website, so I can't check on the 17th :(. At least I know I got in though, which is nice, but still it's not as fun.

Hey-

I'm also anxiously awaiting my UVM decision but it seems as though some of you have already gotten in... how did you find out?

As for those of you with the 'deferred' decision online a few days ago that was a fluke. I freaked out, as I am applying to a few more difficult schools as well. I signed on later the next day and the decision was gone so I then called the Admissions people. The guy was really nice and said that it was a mistake and that everyone's website said 'deferred' for a few hours that one night. So, everyone can breathe for a little bit!!!

jtran- FYI, your user name is just your SSN and your password is your birthday MM/DD/YY. Thank god they make it easy!

Good luck!

-WJJ

My son's says "admit" when he sign's in, he got the scholarship letter 10 days later

I tried using my SSN, and birthdate as my login/pin at the admissions website but it said the pin didn't match the login, so I guess I'll just have to wait for the mailing, probably Saturday.

well everyone today is the day for all of the EA people. Has anyone else found out if they have got in yet? I know I am still waiting till 5 tonight but a friend of mine was already accepted. Well I'll be sure to share the news even though it could be bad, peace out.

Just an update I got into UVM damn i so happy good luck to everybody peace out.

I'm in! UVM and UNH. Yay!
