<p>I was deferred EA. Did I shoot too high?!??!, uvm was supposed to be a safety/match for me. Now do i have a chance of getting in the second </p>

out of state --- maryland
3.1 UW 3.35 W (2.6 fresh, 3.25 soph, 3.39 jun, 3.47 sen)
Many honors/gt/ap classes (2h 1gt in fresh, 3 h in soph, 3h 1gt in jun, 2h 2ap in sen)
1220 SAT (660M, 560V)
SAT2: 1C 660, Writing 570
learning disability</p>
<p>ECs: 3 years cross country, 3 years (2 seasons per year) varsity golf, 2 years ski team at local ski area, mentor at 1st tee golf program, fed homeless people at shelter once every 2 weeks for a year, community service at synogauge, 2 summers of youth character/leadership building trips (similar to outward bound) living in the backcountry for weeks at a time, certified in wilderness aid and soon wilderness first responder</p>
<p>Wow, I feel sorry for you. I had the same basic stats as you with less activities, and I got in EA.</p>

<p>It's easier to get in RD than EA. You still have a really good shot at being accepted.</p>
<p>yea i think you'll be fine RD, they even said in the letters that it's harder competition EA</p>
<p>yea that sucks i got in EA with a 3.0 and a lower SAT and less extracurriculars that sucks you will probably get in Regular decision</p>

<p>Does anyone know if there going to pick UVM yet? Right now im set on UVM. If I get into Uconn I will have to weigh those two but Im sure I will still be set on UVM.</p>
<p>if you want a country school with a big campus and not many cars go to UConn</p>
<p>if you want a city school in a city that is culturally active but not too big go to UVM</p>
<p>there are plenty of cars at uconn. sure its in the middle of nowher, but there are cars.</p>

<p>anyone elses' online status page move from "ADMIT" to "COMPLETE" (a.k.a No Decision). Tihs is weird and sort of scaring me. Coud lthis be because my Financial Aid information was jsut received on the 10th of February?</p>
