I'm a freshman Engineer (probably mechanical) at Duke right now and since I remember looking here to try to find answers to questions about college life last year, I've decided to try to be helpful. If I don't get totally flooded with questions, I'll try to answer as many as I can. Since I don't have a whole lot of free time, I'm not going to be coming back and visiting here, so questions in this thread have an extremely low likelihood of being answered, at least by me.</p>
<p>Also, I don't know a thing about admissions, so asking me about the likelihood of you getting in is pointless. There are a few people here who I wonder "How the hell did they get in to Duke?!", and there are some absolute geniuses as well. All I can say is good luck.</p>
