<p>Not "a lot higher", but definitely higher. Here's a comparison:</p>

<p>2005 mid 50% ranges:
GPA: 3.6-3.9
SAT: 1250-1400
ACT 26-31</p>

<p>2006 mid 50% ranges:
GPA: 3.7-4.0
SAT: 1260-1480
ACT: 27-31</p>

<p>Also, the acceptance rate dropped from 57% to 47%. </p>

<p>So yes, Michigan was slightly more selective in 2006.</p>
