<p>Looks like another well qualfied class for USMA.</p>
<p>Here are some base numbers for the USMA and USNA 2010 classes. USMA numbers are stated first.</p>
<p>Applications: 10,276 -- 10,747
Fully Qualified: 2171 -- 1888
Admitted: 1311 -- 1215
Women: 181 -- 272</p>
<p>Pretty even in the applications with a greater number of USMA candidates acheiving fully qualified status. USMA admitted almost 100 more cadets this year than USNA. Finally, USNA continues to attract a larger number of women with females composing 22% of the class compared to 14% at USMA.</p>
<p>Attract? Or admit? I believe the two academies have different stated targets - 15% for USMA, 20% USNA (although it looks like their yield floated up a bit this year).</p>
