We have uniforms too. The skirts have to be one inch above the knee. No one follows that rule. They also tried to outlaw knee socks and make everyone wear tights, then saw it wasn’t going over well, so they put knee socks back on ‘trial status’."

I don’t know what type of school you go to, however, the girl Catholic Schools in my area have the ugliest uniforms imaginable. I don’t get it. Us boys get to wear pretty much whatever we want in terms of colors, ties, etc. However, you’ll get stuck looking ugly together.

And my school paper has been taken over by the last person I wanted to take over it. This year is just getting on my nerves now. I really don’t have a reason to go back.

Other than to go to college, though. A necessary evil.

It’s to keep our minds sharp, apparently. Or, in the case of some courses, to fit stuff in that otherwise wouldn’t fit in during the school year. I know that was the case with APUSH last year.

I noticed that the younger students in my town have no summer work. Not fair, because when I was younger I had work every summer.

Yeah, I’ve NEVER did any work over the summer. We don’t even get told what our schedule is until a week before school. My highschools registration day is today, actually. So it’s not even possible for teachers to even give us summer work.

People with homework are LUCKY. I have a goddamn extended essay, and have to correct my TOK essay along with doing CAS journals every week and reflections too.

SOmetimes, I just feel like giving up. Being an international student applying to school with financial aid doesn’t give me the best chances.

Raddd, I’m with you on that one. IB sucks, a lot. This summer was so stressful, with the EE and CAS. And I’m gonna have to find a job soon, my mother doesn’t seem to understand how much that is going to add on to my stress.
IB + College Applications + Sports + Job = Death (: i’m not even kidding
