All the other schools seem to have one, so why doesn't CMU?

Advice: Having met some of my son's classmates (CMU 2006) I am impressed on their focus and all round, roundness. I would recommend that you find one or two school clubs that you can either enhance your skills in your major or a club that you can be passionate. And have fun doing it. Enjoy your summer, mid August will come soon enough. Learning too much about CMU now could dull the later experience. I believe CMU will give you more than you expect.

for summer reading fun, read biograhies of Andrew Mellon and Andrew Carnegie. Learn the pipes.

u cn check out cmu.beyond-sanity.org

is the website (cmu.beyond-sanity.org) down, or is it just my slow computer acting up again?

No.. it is working.... and I highly reccomend the forum as well! The forum has 150+ members and growing, and really beats the crap out of the Official CMU forum. Heck, I even decided to throw the forum at the top of my homepage,
http://www.tehtooya.net/

You can also see the official, cmu-made forum on that page (its a weird url...), but the cmu.beyond-sanity.org forum is definately teh shiz ;)
