I have the Common App for 2010… on paper, It came with Harvards Fall 2010 App, I’ve already filled out my applications basic info, asked for recs, and Im deciding my essay topics now…

Early Rolling Admissions
Michigan State
University Michigan (Is it even worth if for me to apply if I don’t have a 28+ ACT Score? I only have a 3.6 and 22 ACT Score with a lot of extracurricular. My brother got into U of M and he only had a 23 and 3.6 took AP Calculus)
I’m starting in August, hopefully I get into a university…

The summer program I got accepted to has us doing all that this summer and as soon as we get home from New Jersey, so I’ll be writing essays and prepping apps this summer.

My dream school is, of course, Columbia. NYU and Princeton are also on my lists. Those are my top 3 schools, but Columbia has my heart <3. I’m pretty sure I’ll get in…I want to. I need to lol.

Probably early August? I’m 90% set on Yale SCEA, so I want to get started on that early. I want to get a lot of essay rough drafts done over the summer so I can enjoy senior year more. We’ll see how that goes. And if I do well on my APs, I think I’ll apply to English schools, and Oxbridge apps are due in October.

Should we ED if we’re unsure about money though? (For example, Duke or NYU!)

EA
James Madison U
George Mason U

RD
UVA
C of William and Mary

Safety RD’s
U of Mary Washington
Longwood U

I’ll be filling out my EA applications probably at the end of June. I also have my portfolio to work on all summer, which means a trip to a good art store.

Then I have a few more colleges to visit. I may or may not take a second go at the ACT in August.

Then I need to fit in writing my book. Hopefully the entire manuscript…or not because it’s really long.

Anyway, as soon as I get past school (It ends this Friday) and my first ACT (this Saturday), I’ll be good to start working on my apps.

EDIT: Prism, it’s probably not a good idea to apply ED if the college in question doesn’t guarantee 100% or nearly 100% need met. ED is a legally binding contract, and it’s rough to get out. Applying without being assured of your financial status in regards to payment is not a good thing to do when it comes to ED.

NYU + financial aid don’t go well together.
IF $ is an issue, DONT apply to NYU ED. You will get ****ed over.

Rixs, I don’t think the JMU application even comes out until like September. If there’s something they give out in June, I wanna know about it because JMU is my 1st choice and I want it in right away…
