I am interested in applying to human ecology, but I haven't seen many others on this board. IS ANYBODY OUT THERE??? If you are, put your state, ED or RD, and then intended major. Let's see if we can get a long list... I'll start.

Chillaxin, I heard HBHS is good for pre-med, it fulfills the prereqs and deals with both the biological sciences and socials aspects of medicine, so it sounds like a good prep. Don't know much about the whole grade inflation and stuff for the HE school though.

there is no grade inflation per se in Human Ecology (no curve, classes are normal in that 90 = A-, etc) but you can easily get an A if you study. I'm an HD major and all the classes I have taken except maybe one class have been an easy A. HD 313 (Problematic Behaviors in Adolescence) is a hard class only because it allows the procrastinator to flourish. The prelims and papers were all optional (if you did them, they counted towards your grades) but if you didn't do them, 100% of your grade are dependent on your final. When you haven't taken an exam for a class the ENTIRE semester, it's hard to cram for it for the final. oh well. Still one of my favorite class to this day.

Anyway, I love Human Ecology and shall miss it after this semester.

does anybody know a thread for the stats of human ecology people who got in early or if there isn't one, could the people who got in early post their stats? thanks
