yayy i love PINs!! all i'm missing is an SAT II, which i took in nov.

i was about to congratulate us on beating the stanford SCEA thread, but i checked and they are now up to the 850s i believe :(

30 days 18 hours!! (according to my countdown)

They will be overcome! Lets play 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon!

Charlie Chaplan!

Awesome, only missing the SAT IIs.

Just wondering: If anyone sent in a supplemental recommendation did it show up under "Items Received"? It says "required items only" so I assume not, but I was just wondering!

So I wonder when the decisions will actually come out. If they are sent out earlier than the 15th, but the decisions are made, do you think we will be able to see them online using the nifty new PIN system? I kind of hope that it is only by mail--I always pictured myself ripping open a big (or small ) package come decision time.

but then you have grecoprincetonian situations...

i am pretty sure that they will post all of the decisions on the website at the same time, and not post them individually once they have made a decision. this will probably be around the 13th, since that is when they usually mail out the packets.

aw that ruins the suspense of it all though =)
but still...the earlier the better!

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Us: 852 (well, 853 now)
Stanford: 861

Sooooo close!
How do they do it?!

Ok, so here's an interesting question: What's the first thing you would do if you were...
Accepted?
Deferred?
Outright rejected?
This ought to get us 7 more posts :)

accepted: scream, jump around, run around the neighborhood, call everyone i know, tell everyone i know the next day, buy some princeton clothes

deferred: nothing, i'm expecting to get deferred.

rejected: cry lol

Okay, jon, I'll bite...:)

Accepted: scream
Deferred: sigh and...well, I guess just sigh, and then drag myself to the mailbox to send in other apps
Rejected: call my parents to say "Told you so"

accepted. go get a $7000 dollar megacomputer, bunch of games, start playing.
deferred. ...... well more essay writing starts...:(
rejected. ................ proof that i am not worthy. i stop applying to colleges, go to a community college, get a job, and get a life.

Oops...somehow I went temporarily blind...I looked again and Stanford has 860, not 861 posts...so now we're only 2 away!

Oh nvm, they have 860 replies but 861 posts...forget the blind thing...now I'm just confused (but still only 2 more)

Last I checked they had 861 posts...so you weren't temporarily blind...the first time!
