I hope more than 15 out of that list will be in the class of 2011!!! :)

How about if we each tell a liitle bit about ourselves. Not stats or anything, just about who we are and stuff...

I'll start:
I was born and raised in Jerusalem, Isreal. My parents are both American. My hobbies are swimming, writing, piano, and music in general. I like everything from classical to death metal. Politcally, I consider myself a libertarian, but more on the conservative side. I LOVE middle eastern food:-) And, I am soooooooooooooooooo looking forward to attending Princeton. (If I get in, of course!)
Go Tigers!

Hey, i too am libertarian, though more on the anarchist side, not conservative.

In fact, my goal in life is to colonize Mars with an anarchist state that has a selection process not unlike admission at Princeton. Also, I'm gonna be a musical composer, and a magician. :-D

Sure, why not.
I am 100% Russian; lived in the USA for the past seven years. Obsessed with Wicked and Queen music; love singing in general. Just visited Princeton two weeks ago and fell in love with it all over again.
Just a thought... wouldn't it be weird if admission officers were reading some of our posts? Because it would definitely be an extra resource to get a sense of their applicants...

Nelle....WICKED IS MY LIFE. I am trying to get my parents to let me fly to london to see idina menzel (I missed her on Broadway) I love to sing too...did you submit an art portfolio?

No...even though I'm in my school's Varsity choir, it's more of a hobby than a full-time commitment.
I didn't get to see Idina Menzel either, but saw Wicked twice in Chicago. I could barely stand up at the end of that first show, it was so... incredible. I am really excited about Princeton's acapella/choir groups, though. When I visited campus, this one group had a ten-year reunion under one of the archways; the sound was just beautiful.

I couldn't agree more...when I first saw it I almost cried during defying gravity. haha. I can't even imagine what would happen if I got to see Idina Menzel. Yeah, Princeton has great opportunities for artrists (esp. considering they just got a 101 MILLION dollar arts grant!) I'm more of a musical theater girl but I do enjoy acapella groups! That is another amazing thing about Princeton...it's only an hour outside NY so I would be able to see shows all the time!

i am tired.

I saw Wicked with all the original cast except for Joel Gray (George Hearn had just replaced him). It was astounding.

I am so insanely jealous!

Nah don't be jealous of that. Be jealous of the backstage access at Sweeney Todd and Spelling Bee...

i, too, am tired.

Me 3! (tired, I mean)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Wicked & Idina Menzel! Rent rocks, too!

I am jealous of the spelling bee backstage access...but not sweeney todd...my mom knows patti lupone so we got to go to dinner with her, which was SO amazing!...Did you meet the red haired guy from Spelling Bee? He was HILLARIOUS!

and yes rent is GREAT

Sweet about the lupone... I only got to meet Michale Cerveris, my friend's dad was in a show with him so we went up to his dressing room and talked for a bit. He had all these pictures of him on the real fleet street!

And no sadly, we only met Olive's then understudy and "Mitch".

Wow! Thats so exciting! Aww...well I'm sure that was still phenomenal! Did you see the Lieutenant of Inishmore?

...did i mention i was tired?

you did. did i mention i am german?
