(copy pasted from my post on the second page, for new posters)

To all future posters, and to all past posters who are curious as to why I stress keeping the correct format

If everyone follows the correct format, then by the time everyone has posted, all one has to do is skip to the last post on the last page to see all of the information in an organized list instead of going through x pages of the thread and scrolling past all of the messages that don't include statistics. It's much more organized and makes it a lot easier to keep track of and compare data. It's literally a few keystrokes; not exactly brain surgery. If this process is beyond your realm of mental sophistication, then I don't think you'de be applying to this school in the first place. It's easy enough to follow and extremely beneficial to the overall purpose of this thread.
If you want proof, check the BC equivolent of this thread out, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/...=255507&page=2 , where nobody followed this format. It's very clumsy and just sloppy. You have to trudge through all of their discussion to see all of the stats, and it's much harder to compare individual applicants side by side. Also, when people recieve their decisions, I ask that they post their decisions next to their statistics on the list, so if a future applicant (or someone who is just curious) wants to see who got in and who didn't and all of their statistics at a quick glance, it's very easy. Now that you have seen the BC thread, check out the UNC CH thread. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/...d.php?t=230269 Much better, no?
