I live in Virginia and haven't gotten any mail so far, although several students from my area have. I noticed that most of the acceptances so far were from the Eliott School of International Affairs and I was wondering if anyone knows if GW is mailing out their letters by school? I applied to the business school and don't know exactly the difficulty in getting accepted there is.

Also, I know that on the paper application of GW (which I used), there's the question of what other schools that I'm applying to. I answered honestly, and since GW is my lowest ranking school of that list, do you think that maybe they might wait-list/reject me based on thinking that I only applied there as my safety? It says that it supposedly has no effect on admissions, but the question must be there for some reason.

[li] Attending? Not without more money. $15,000 still makes GW $37,000, which isn't worth it to me. Miami, similarly ranked, offered $24,000 with the chance to interview for $32,000 (full tuition). Maybe I'll try and negotiate something, but as it stands I'm not going.[/li][/ul]

I also got the financial aid info before an official acceptance. Weird.

I also received a financial aid offer, a very nice one lol, but no actual acceptance letter yet. oh well, considering they're offering me a presidential scholarship i can wait for that actual acceptance letter lol.

How odd is this? Supposedly I never "completed" my GW application. This is funny because I was never informed of such, and thusly, my application was never even considered. lol...how about that? It's alright, GW wasn't a top choice for me anyway...more of a safety...it's still odd, though.
