Forgive me if this has been posted...some interesting stuff.

Doing slightly worse with females(21%) but the african-american numbers are disturbing(4.8%). Not sure what's happening there.

If I read this correctly, only 43 students were admitted that had at least a year of civilian university (Non NAPS, Foundation, Private Prep). That is a lot lower than I had anticipated. It seems like it is harder to get in the second time around than what we have been assuming on this web site. Am I reading that right?

Don't read too much into the numbers. The chances of acceptance for a given profile vary from year to year depending upon what profiles you are up against.

Maybe there weren't that many college applicants. Maybe many of the ones that applied just weren't up to scratch. Maybe the kids coming in direct from HS were particularly competitive this year. Etc.

Additionally, college applicants and re-applicants are most likely looked at differently than the HS kids, so that can be reflected in the final numbers.

The best you can do is try your hardest, do your best, and then let the dice roll. There is, sadly, a good deal of blind luck involved in the application process.

Yeah, I also don't think there are very many college applicants. Many decide not to reapply because once they get to their civilian college, they become to attached and don't want to leave. Also, a lot of people start thinking about having to do five years of college and don't think it is worth it.
