At my school, the class of2007 for high graduation and 2011 for year of college graudation is considered the "dumb class, lol. Has anyone else seen this or no?

I'm not quite sure what you mean? Do you mean your high school's class of 2011 or a college class of 2011?

I'm in the Princeton class of 2010 and we kick ass!! ;)

sry...class of 07 for high school and 2011 for college

At the end of the school year, our teachers were talking about how unmotivated the 07' class was compared to our class (08'). I think it is relatively true in my school's case and most of the upcoming juniors and very laid back.

Opposite for out 08 class. They don't really compare us to other classes, they just reinforce the idea that we suck.

Well, "good colleges", I guess that just means that if you work hard it should be easier to rank higher in your high school class. So I'd take advantage of that if I were you.

Our class is actually probably the biggest group of over achievers in a while... a large number have over a 4.0 GPA, and about half of the class has over a 3.7 out of 4.5 (usually there are about 7-10 people... and our class is the smallest that the school's seen in a few years)

I should probaby add that I go to a pretty small school... about 250 in all, haha

my grade is pretty dumb if i should say so myself...lol. we'll probably have only like 10 prosepective ivy's by the time we graduate next yr. it sucks. but most of my grade are mediocre like me. we'd rather go to NYU, MIAMI, or BOSTON, as supposed to ivy league. my grade doesnt like ivy's for some reason. We're just ecclectic like that...

my school doesnt rank

Actually, our graduating class, class of 2006 is perhaps the most successful class to ever come out from our school. Seven people at least got a perfect score on one section of the SAT's and we're going to colleges like: Harvard [1], Tufts [2], Duke [1], Davidson [1], BU [3], Rutgers [4], Penn State [4], Villanova [2], TCNJ [2], Stevens [4], Lehigh [1], and UVM [1]

With acceptances to: Princeton [1], Yale [1], Cornell[1], Columbia [1], Dartmouth [1], MIT [1], Harvey Mudd [1], Williams [1], U Chicago[1], UVA [1], Brandeis [1], NYU [2], BC [3], Tufts [3], TCNJ [9]

With next years class, class of 2007, they are some of the biggest underachievers. In our class we had forty NHS members and our bar is set at 3.75 rather than the regular 3.5, and they only have 18 members, and their highest recorded SAT right now is in the 1950's so they don't seem to be in a very promising situation, with only one kids right know who seems likely to get into Williams, but other than that it doesn't look good for them.

Our class of 07 is ok and is probably equal to the class of 06, if not slightly better

our class of '07 is quite good, well not mine per se since im 06 but same thing. My sister and her friend are in the top with around a 4.3 GPA, and i know my lil sis first time taking the SATs was a 2260 (end of 10th) she hasnt taken the next one yet...But personally it seemed my year of '06 was pretty bad (we have one overachiever and the rest dont give a f***)

My teachers have this Norse god theory that everything's just getting worse. But I'm not sure. I can definitely say in my class's case, 07 is just as good as others academically, but the majority of us lack personality...so we're like cardboard.

But our 08 has some geniuses. And 06 was not that great. Blah. Who knows? I really think class dynamic is about how well people gel/ignite each other's competitive fires. That brings out excellence.
