I did hoped for acceptance, but after 4 rejects (MIT, Caltech, Chicago, HMC) this is a good change :)</p>

<p>Well I just received the thin envelope from Amherst. GOD DAMN IT I'm not going to college next year, rejected at Duke and Amherst, Waitlisted at Rice and Accepted NOWHERE</p>

<p>Dr Avrah, no i didn't apply for financial aid but i think amherst is need blind for internationals. </p>

<p>Letter (denial) here too. I have to ask though, did anyone notice the low admit rate on their letter? If we did the math correctly, looks like less than 6%.</p>

<p>Piratemonkey: Yes, Amherst is definitely not need-blind for internationals, but Williams is :)</p>
