Daughter deferred, School of Nursing

does bc look at sibling legacy?

As expected, no word in Michigan. Does anyone think Michigan would have a chance for Monday? or is Tuesday most likely?

Congratulations to everyone accepted! We live in Pa and my son did not receive an admission decision but did receive a copy of the Boston College Bulletin. Did anyone else receive this?

Dear jhjh628 : Sibling legacy has absolutely ZERO weight in Boston College admissions. With two that attended the University for two years together, we can confirm that the admissions office is “blind” to sibling admissions until after the reading process.

Dear stewta4 : Remember that while Boston College might have put 7,000 responses in the postal mail this weekend, you also have dozens of Boston area colleges that are all doing exactly the same thing. The volume of postal mail coarsing through the system over the next ten days makes you wonder how the service actually operates with a 44-cent stamp. Anyway, do not start counting the days right now - it might take more than usual in order for Boston-stamped mail to reach you. Hang in there and good luck!

^Thanks. Im actually not that anxious. I already got accepted to Michigan, so now there is a lot less pressure, although I’d still obviously prefer and appreciate an acceptance.

Anyone excepted to School of Nursing and could you provide stats. Thanks. Congrats to all accepted.

How did you know you were accepted to the honors program??? is it automatic or were you invited to apply.

We live in an hour out of Boston, my daughter was accepted into the nursing program, recived her envelope today. I am not certain of her exact stats! I know they were good.

Okay so im not a good test taker and only got a 1910 on my sats; however I have tons of extra curriculars such as 2 varsity sports, national honor society president, school ambassador, etc. My GPA is a 3.98 out of 4.0 and 4.56 weighted. Any thoughts on my chances of being admitted?

I’m an hour from Boston and got nothing

stewta4: The booklet in my admission folder said that I’ve been invited to join the Honor’s Program! I’m assuming that means I just have to accept??

what does the acceptance look like? just a regular envelope or is it a big package? or what?
