Class of 2012 from Nepal

Nata Pramanit ma do I have to show my siblings as well..ki me and parents matra?? BTW Happy Gadatantra Diwas everyone…

show your siblings too

You list all your siblings and parents in DS-158. So, its not exactly mandatory to bring Natapramanit and remember, nothing about relation ship certificate is mentioned in any authorative websites. Probably, the consultancies in Nepal originated that here.

In case, you might want to substantiate your listing, you can bring that, as the counselor officer said at the VISA info session “having or bringing more doesn’t hurt” (he was referring to recommendations that time)

So, has everyone applied for a visa interview? i hope you wouldnt mind posting the dates as well..

Hey both of are going to get your plane ticket from Amherst and Williams. Have you already reserved the ticket? When you get the ticket, please tell me the route you will be taking.

1) Anyone going to Reed this year?

2) In the VISA interview, my college tells me I should give the Americans a strong reason for going to the states and a stronger reason for coming back. Koi bhan na anything except simply serving my country…

strong reason for going to states: to have a holistic education unlike in Nepal. U can add that you have electic interests in academics, and the american liberal arts education suits your way. 'I can immerse in the depth of liberal arts education, while also focusing on the major of my choice, sth in this line"

strong reason to come back: social, financial ties help alot. Show them your properties. And, tell what you want to do with your overseas education in Nepal.

The main thing is to to BE YOURSELF. Don’t try to make answers, but give what you sincerely believe. Take suggestions from others. Don’t worry, u’ll have no problems.

Hey BNKS12, I think when you have Whitman’s I20 the counselor will not try to grill you. Being accepted by Whitman is itself a proof that you have strong reasons to go to the U.S.

I heard that Milap Dixit of Rato Bangla got into Reed.

Who got Grinnel’s Nepalese scholarship this year?

yeah, i am also curios. It seems renaitsme (am i right???) ruined the scholarship for Nepalese. The adcom must be pretty hurt coz one of their most valued scholarships was rejected…haha :D
