<p>I think meningococcal vaccine is a must for students staying in dormitories.. I have already taken it, and yes, it is only a single dose vaccine.</p>

Do we have to write an application letter to the visa interviewer at the embassy when we go for the interview? I had never heard of such a thing before, but Pokhara is a place of rumors you see.. so Iām utterly confused!</p>

<p>There is no vaccine for TB except the BCG which you have already taken. And as you said, the injection they give now is for a skin test. you have to wait for 48-72 hrs after taking the injection and then they give you a report that confirms whether you are TB negative or positive. TB negative tells you tht you dont have the TB.</p>

30% of world population carry t.b. bacteria in passive state. And if you give a t.b. test after vaccination, it is highly probable that the result will be false. I heard that you have to appear for t.b. test after you report in your college and also take medication for t.b. for a few weeks.</p>

<p>you dont need it. the only things that u āmustā bring to your visa interview is your I-20. everything else is just to make your case stronger. my suggestion to all of you is not to go through these unnecessary hassle of making different documents. i mean keep it up to the basic requirement. i.e I-20, academic transcripts and a bank statement.</p>

<p>for most of you, getting the visa should be real easy. it might even be less than a minute. trust me, mine was about a minute. as soon as i went to the window, she handed my documents back and said that i qualify for the visa. </p>

<p>no you do not need that visa application letterā¦ that is all consultancyās stupid idea. They try to show all sorts of unnecessary papers to beautify your documents and the result the consulars get frustrated with those docs and reject the applicantsā¦ but not in your caseā¦I believe they will willingly give you visa without even looking at your docs, just the collegeās name will do it.</p>
