manas, have you taken your vaccines?
what vaccines are you supposed to take?

meningococal, Hepatitis B (three doses+booster), PPD test, MMR, Tetanus Booster, Chicken pox(disears history cha bhane linu pardaina). Aru ta bachha huda leko ho.

one serious problem,
i havent taken the HEPAT. B vaccine (not even the 1st one)…
so what must I do…(anybody care to explain…?)

btw, ITALY TO THRASH ROMANIA … FORZA AZZURRI!!!

kushalpurie:
I have the same problem. But I took the first dose some days ago, and will take the second dose after abt a month. I will have to take the third dose in the US itself. It will be expensive, but because my college has strongly recommended taking the Hep B vaccine, I had to show them that I was under vaccination. If your college requires Hep B vaccination, then I suggest you to do the same thing.

I’ve taken MMR, meningococcal, typhoid vaccines and Mantoux test(Tuberculin test). I have been inoculated with two doses of Hep B as of today. It seems I’ll have to take the booster one in US.

And, manas, what’s PPD test?

@manasm – thanks

i have to take Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccines. and a compulsory TB screening test at the university, won’t accept the screening test conducted in nepal.

jasonshah,
PPD is the same as Mantoux test and i’m glad as hell that i didnt have to take that screwed up test.
manasm,
when are we going for the TT booster?

btw,
if i’d taken the 1st and 2nd doses of Hepatitis about a year ago n take the booster now, will that be sufficient? help

Another disappointing day for the Azzuris.
What the hell is it with those linesmen, seeing an offside when there was none. And from when did Italy start relying on its attack for winning the game?
Whatsoever, Forza Italia. We will surely beat the French. Romania will surely lose to the Dutch.

snakeeyes, I think you have to take three doses of Hepatitis B before the Booster one. And, you can take Booster within 1-5 years after the day you took the third dose.

If I am wrong, I’ll be glad to be corrected.

Yea bocca, now only hope for our Azzuris is to beat france. But the game between Dutch and France was really interesting.
Forza Italia!

ok here is the situation…
ROMANIA will surely be thrashed by HOLLAND..
and ITALY vs. FRANCE…which we shall win..

and about HEPATITUS B…
I’m going to the US in the first week of AUGUST…
how many doeses/vaccines will i be able to have?? and how many will be left??
HELP…!

thanks jason.

you can have the booster and do the antibody test after a month. if it shows positive you are fine other wise you have to tall all three doses.

thanks mohak. btw, if it shows +ve, will the booster be counted as the 1st dose? or will i have to start all over again?

if its positive, the antibodies are produced when “hepatitis invader” enters your body and you will be protected. so if positive you don’t have to take other doses if negetive you have to take all three dosess again.

i got my visa today,

Congrats Jason!!! :)

thanks, kapil. It has been long since our last contact, hasn’t it? I heard you received your I20. So, when’s the date? I mean when is your interview…haha ;)

yeah it has been looong.. i havent taken the date (interview one :D) yet.. i got some problem with my documents so i guess i will take the date of around mid july
