Class of 2012 from Nepal

Any more good news about college placements?

Best Nepali joke: “Maile tyo keti sanga kura gare ni!”

Translation “I totally talked to this hot girl today!”

Understood only by a select few.

^^^^ Totally^^^ :D

HEy Guys ,
Anyone knows how to convert ISc percentage into GPA or a rough idea of equivalent GPA.
And, anyone going to Cornell, princeton, MIT , Yale from nepal this year

It’s pretty simple-
80% and above= 4
75-80= 3.75
70-75= 3.5
65-70= 3 and so on

Sabu is the hottest bocca in the making.

But I beg to differ. The best Nepali joke should rather be.

“I saw this really hot girl today!”

Hey skunk thanks dude.
That is amazing, is getting GPA so easy in A levels. Getting 80 in ISc wasn’t that
difficult. I had 81 in my ISc 1 st year, screwed up, didn’t study during exam preparation during second year, ended up in 73 , aggregate 77. Gave continuity to screwing up, registered for SAT and SAT 2 (3 subjects). Didn’t go to any of those tests, slept all morning when there were tests taking place. So i am applying , already applied to Canadian Universities, applications under review. Your conversion gives me hope man.

And what about you? Where did u study ? got any offers till now. Doesn’t anybody gets admitted in Ivies from Nepal ?

Absolutely true. My apologies bocca; I stand corrected.

^^^But I believe those who know us will say otherwise.

i see… lots of translations going on
wanna do translations??? i have a ton of work left…wud u help me??? hahhahaha tara paisa saisa chai paundaina hai ;)

looking at the long queues at petrol pumps and gas stations i think the government should consider declaring the following holidays:

Petrol Filling Day
Diesel Filling Day
Kerosene Filling Day
LPG Buying Day (For Consumers)
LPG Filling Day (For Micros etc)

hahahahahahah like my idea???

hey guys saw this question at the other page…“what will you do after your undergrad?”
i wanted to know what will you guys do???

^^^ and plz dont say that u will still be studying!

i dont know what i may be doin. probably MBA

^^Wouldn’t that count as studying?

I’d take a year or two off…go for a job and get into the ‘working’ world…may be, by then, i’ll know what it takes to be secure and succeed in work…then, do my masters based on what I get from this experience.

ani…I gave my first telephone interview of my life…just now @ 10:15 local time…the call went for about 13 minutes…i dn’t know what I spoke…haha…it’s awkward giving interview on phone…person to person is quite better…can look on his/her eyes + body/hand movements help better to fill in some pauses…humans are visual creatures, so visual stimulation would have made better impression…getting more scientific, aren’t I???/ haha…but anyway, i have just given the first phone interview of my life…yuppy!!! :D
