Hey everyone, so as you all know we, as the Class of 2012, will be entering our Junior Year next year YAY!! But that also means tons of college preparation and SAT studying. So I was just wondering what you all were doing in order to prepare for the SATs. What scores are you aiming for? What have you done already? What was your PSAT score? What are you planning to do and how much time are you going to put into it? What books are you using? When are you first going to take the test?

I didn’t get a chance to take them this year because of SAT Subject Tests but will probably be taking them first testing session after the summer. How many SAT subject tests have you guys taken?

I am taking my SAT either October or December, I took my SATII WH this year, and I think I got a 750 or higher. I am shooting for a 2000 or 2100 on my first go, hopefully higher; I got the blue book last night and plan to get Princeton Review.

I took Math II back in December…800, but I had nightmares the night before the scores came out. :)

In total, I already have had one year of official SAT prep. with this tutoring afterschool place. I can’t study without a class because I always end up distracted. :)

Took the real SAT in May. CC Failed–2150. Will probably retake next year.

I took the May SAT too and got a 2120… definitely retaking since I’m aiming for 2350+, probably in October. My PSAT score was basically the same at a 213. I have the Blue Book, Gruber’s, and both Direct Hits and will be studying from those this summer.

Wow, I feel like I’m the only one who hasn’t taken any real SATs yet.
I’m probably going to do my SAT I in December/January and my SAT IIs (Japanese, WH, USH) in June. I’m probably going to find some time to do an ACT too because I did a whole lot better on the PLAN test than the PSAT. Too bad the PSAT is the one that counts for the NMS thing.
