Class of 2012, TOP school & academic profile?

I love how any scrappy kid with a good face can become a pop star.
Auto-tune…
I hate all people with crap music, Waka, wayne, drake, gaga, etc…
It ****es me off that they’re famous because they know their way around auto-tune.

So you hate thousands of people because they make music that you don’t personally enjoy? I don’t feel like that’s really helping your case.

^^ I like GaGa. I do not love her, but I like her ideas.
Wayne needs to just go back to whatever place he came from.
At long last, another person who does not like him. Every time I say he does not make good music several people feel ready to jump me.

Manarius, what do you like? I’m just curious?
Do you like a specific genre?

Settle down bro, Go defend talentless losers somewhere else.

I think you’re suffering from “Hurting for a squirt-en” syndrome. I suggest giving a good, sloppy, yet firm helping of dome to Justin and you’ll soon be expunged of your symptoms.

I’m out!

Auto-tune loving idiot…

^That’s just pathetic.

^^Lil’ Wayne is awful.

I like rock, mostly. Alternative is good, but there hasn’t been any good, new alternative for a while now. Hip-hop is fun on occasion, but extremely shallow from a musical perspective.

If I had to pick a favorite band, I’d go with old school Linkin Park. Hybrid Theory and Meteora were great albums. Even some of the Jay-Z stuff was pretty decent. They started going downhill with Minutes to Midnight though.

LOL, THAT’S PATHETIC.

I’m need some ice for that burn!!! Damn!

Insult of the century!

On a side note, Jay-Z was pretty good back in the day. His new roc-nation label isn’t that bad right now.

It would be better if J.Cole had any push on this “upcoming” album.

You heard about jay elec getting signed to roc nation? Dude is so good.

Has a great story too.

Jay Elec is legit as a lyricist. One of the best I’ve heard.

Occasionally though, he bores me.

Yea, his voice sometimes just puts you to sleep. Mad lyrics/metaphors thought.

@Manarius

Lincoln Park used to be good. Some of their music was great, but I started to dislike a bit of it later on. Try 3-Doors Down, their song away from the sun is old, but great. I like it anyway.

Blood On the dance floor is a bit more scremo, if you like that type of stuff, but they are new.
hmmm… I can’t think of any new bands…
.

Shiny Suit Theory with Jay-Z was tight in my opinion.

Listen to “just began” and, “Something to hold on to”.

Something to hold onto is great. I love the story about him growing up in the hood.

Listen to “Jazzmattazz”. So sick!

^^^Old school Linkin Park is the best.

I do really like 3 Doors Down. And Three Days Grace.

Not real big on screamo, or metal. I feel like the goal there is more to be as loud as possible than it is to make good music.

Jazzmattazz.

I was like damn.

^^
Yah I agree about the scremo, but when you are just bored out of your mind it’s good music.

Old school Lincoln Park is the best.

Have you ever listened to Coheed and Cambria?

I’ve heard a few of their songs, but I’ve never really listened to them much. Just never really caught my ear.

Coheed and Cambria’s some pretty crazy stuff. Sounds a little techno, rock, and screamo all at the same time.

@MIT. It’s so good. Listen to state of clarity by guru. It’s amazing.

^^
Yah that’s why I love them.
^__^

All their songs put together supposidly make up some story. I can’t remember what it was supoosed to be, but I heard it’s like some sci-fi stuff.
