YAAAY! 1200th POST

Now that I have got my post I can talk seriously now.

booyah!!!

I didn't even realize, thanks for pointing it out ajay :D

Well I really appreciate your support people :) Thank you all!

I just checked my National Percentile 92% < BEAT THAT! I MEAN WITH A RUDDY 1910 !!

Now I am thinking whether I should go ahead and apply ED to Dartmouth or not. I mean I can wait get 800 on math and CR in November and then apply RD ;)

Good to be myself again! :D

CHEERS PEOPLE!

But still I feel pathetic after getting that score :(

your score says nothing about your intelligence...

and your score isn't the only thing they look at!!!!

A good score wont get me in but a bad score will keep me out.

a bad score won't necessarily keep you out, just like a good score won't get you in

heh you are too sweet Roshni. I had expected atleast 750 on my Math but see what I got?! I feel like a half roasted Turkey

that's not the first time someone has called me sweet :o

half-roasted turkey?! Where do you get your similes :p

:) I am leaving now not in the mood to talk :( My SAT scores have taken a toll on me

Similes? Well innate talent :D

I am not going to be here for the next month sigh

I might log in though for like a minute or to answer PM's

@Rister: Damn, is it that close? In a week? I guess I should stop procrastinating and finally have my scores translated by my old school... It might be too late after the holidays.
Well, best of luck to you on your Matura, but I'm sure you're gonna do fine. Try to rank as 1st, 2nd or 3rd! Looks good, plus you'll have an official ranking. ;) Or does your school rank all students?
You know, I really don't want to patronize you, but believe me, there will come a time when you'll miss Gymnasium... Especially the Matura. In retrospective, it was a great time, and I liked the reading a lot.

OK. I'm rambling. Just had a melancholic moment :)

P.S. No history exams?

it's one AM...I should be asleep!

awelex:

it's 01:06 here and I'm a bit drunk :( Damn 5-Liiber-Abig :D :D
okay, i think my school ranks only 1st, 2nd and 3rd, however, I don't think it's in my reach...my Vornoten are too bad :( My headmaster may put me in the top 10% though, i didn't talk too much with her about that yet :(
aawww.. yes, I have to organize my recommendations and grade translations as well.. it sux, i know :(

and, yes, i'm sure i'll miss the Gymnasium... I'm really trying to enjoy these last days and today, for instance, was awesome: like the whole graduating class was in the Garden Club (one of the few few few good clubs in Winterthur) tonight and we just celebrated... amazing! :D
did you have a Maturareise as well? We go in the alps, this is gonna be awesome :)

nop, no history exams. I took Geography as my (Vor-)Matura exam for the social sciences (Geistenswissenschaften) which I had to take orally at the beginning of my senior year (pretty much aced it with a 5.5 :p)

question:
Do you guys think we can switch back to English any time soon???
CC is getting boring...

awelex: are you Class of 2012 guy(gal)?
debate: true

I'm lost .

Damn.. I've to wait until the 29th for my SAT results..

Hi I have graduated last year but will apply as a class of 2012.

Do you think it is possible to apply to USA colleges, while studying in other college or university? Not as a transfer.

Ah, well, you are in a critical situation then. Some colleges will allow you to apply as freshmen (provided you are starting your college this year itself!) While some will prefer transfer. It will be better you email them and ask, coz at many sites, you won't find this very specific condition!...

Issacnewton: how much did you score on your SAT? And which college are you headed to?
