Was anyone deferred or rejected?

My daughter received a call on our answering machine at 5:45 pm last night. They said they were calling with good news. Does that mean she is in? They wouldn't call and say she was deferred or anything right? The suspense is killing us!

yeah shes prob in

the guys called my mom first and told her that he had good news and i should call him back

and i did and was accepted

i dont think they call you if your deferred or rejected

Thanks, she finally spoke to the admissions person at 4pm yesterday and she is in. She is so happy. Anybody out there from Massachusetts or NE area going to American?

As the parent of a happy AU sophomore, I just want to congratulate the newly accepted members of the class of 2013 and wish good luck to those still awaiting their decisions.:)

Momonthehill , which dorm did your student live in? My son said that students accepted ED get priority in housing choice and he wants to pick a good dorm!

From what I can recall, all dorms are essentially the same. Whrther you get one or two room mates, the dorm will be the same as every other dorm on the campus. However, I've heard mentioning that there is a social difference between the dorms.
