Anyone thought about Davidson?

Clemson
Penn State
Temple
U of Alabama
UT Austin
Texas A&M

Thats about it all for engineering

I would love to go to Caltech, but that’s probably gonna happen. I’d be happy with Rice, U Chicago, Northwestern, or UC Berkeley

Applying to NYU, Barnard, Smith, Brown, Sarah Lawrence, Reed, and UMTC. Brown, Reed, and Barnard are all reach. My first choice is a three-way tie between Reed/NYU/Barnard, however…

This changes slightly quite frequently. Brown, Duke, Dartmouth, Amherst, Pomona and maybe Wesleyan and Williams… there’s probably one or two I can’t remember atm

Here’s my updated list:
First choice: MIT<3

Harvard
Columbia
BC
Georgetown
UChicago
Notre Dame

Fordham
Northeastern
Stony Brook
Binghamton

Oh gosh, that’s way too many. Hopefully I don’t even have to apply to some of them. (I’m applying EA to MIT)

My list didn’t really change much:

Purdue Uni- first choice
Michigan State uni- added
Ball State
Valpo Uni

Looking into:
Norte Dame
ITT
IIT
California
Uni of Kansas
Northwestern

BTW: What is MIT???

…

you’re not serious are you?

UChicago, Brown, and Swarthmore are my dream schools right now. I also love Tufts, which isn’t quite as much of a reach…

I know it is Mass. institute of technology, but I don’t know what it is all about and why so many people mentions this?

MIT has the best engineering program in the country, and some other near number one (if not number one) departments.

I guess I’ll contribute to the thread too…

Top choice would be Penn, followed by UVA, Mich, Georgetown and many others.

Alluriste will you have the honor of joining me in EDing to Penn?

WT(sigh stupid language rule)! How come I never heard of them until now? (College research FAIL!!!)

^ Thanks! I only had 3 out of the (Purdue and Cornell tried at 9???) 10 university on the list. But seriously they need to get out more info.

Rankings aren’t the end all be all, but they do give you a good idea of where a certain school stands. I really think Cornell should be higher up, but whatever. Regardless, MIT is widely recognized as the place to go to study engineering.

coughs uh, Engineering Student here never heard of MIT till now…

That’s your fault, you could literally google best undergrad engineering schools and MIT would pop right up.

That’s kind of true…^ MIT is pretty well known… C’mon now, Howard went there for his masters!

Please, someone understand my reference…
