Class of 2013 from Nepal

@every1
People over this thread seem to forget that they are not competing with eachother rather most importantly with killer Indian applicants -let alone other int.s

@MITscholar
Hey bro are U Alevel/+2/Isc.......if you dont mind?
@neo
bro I got it.Best of luck for your application to Kenyon.I m already a highschool graduate no more in senior yr. like u guessed</unite>

happy tihar ppl!!

@neo,
u need to write a super brillliant essay for kenyon. that'll help u get in. writing is HUGE there. academics okay bhaye pugcha but writng needs to be GREAT Are u majoring in lit?

@morrrison
i dont think we r competing against indians..we r like so poor compared to them. so we fall under the third world category of international applicants. like poor african ppl..we're competing wit them.

but i dont there will be many international students..
just take an example here in CC..
we dont find threadds like class of 2013 Thailand nor India nor Singapore.. lol..
thats really amazing!

Nepali students are very famous for abroad studies..!!

Is barrons ko Math II difficult or is it just that i m too dumb for it?? I get like 10 questions wrong! Is it bad? How hard is the real test??

And should I retake a 730 chem????

@explicitinnuendo:If you get 10 questions wrong in barrons, and get the rest correct withing 1 hour, then I guarantee you that you will get a perfect 800...730 chemistry is not a very good score for big colleges, if you have time and money, then go for it again...I m considering to do double majors in Bio and Eng lit if I get into Kenyon...Essays are coming out lot better than I had expected...I have finished two..still got to write two more supplements.."Why Kenyon" question is troubling me..ny idea??.
.last year, 4 students from BNKS had applied to Kenyon and all of them were rejected. This year Kenyon Ad Officer has said that Kenyon is really looking forward to BNKs applicants...My result will clearly indicate the correctness of their statement!!...hah

I didn't use Barron's Math II but from what I've heard the practise tests in it are considerably more difficult than tjhe real ones.

As far as scoring goes, I think MAth II scoring is the most generous. You can get a raw score of 45 and still get 800. And if that's what ur aiming for then u cant afford to make 10 errors let alone leave them.

And about retaking, it all depends on ur expectations. I took chem and scored not much more than u. I was actually expecting a perf score. But I'm quite sure that I won;t be retaking

@neo
I too am opting for a lit major! Kenyon is on my list too. But I dont have good SAT scores for ED-ing there though.
Looking forward to BNKS students? Could that imply as Nepali students?
You have a great chance there i think since u got overall everything gud. Gud Luck!
You could talk abt the location thats what i like best abt them and definately the lit thing is there too.
Which one did u do?? I did the neuro science essay. I m still wondering wat the map wala question meant.

Don't even touch the Barrons 2 maths book
its too tough
if u take my suggestion then practice all subjects from only PR ; note again only Princeton review

and guys, maths 2 is very easy; scoring 800 is not a big deal
and if u are sitting for maths 1 then i suggest u to give it up
sit for maths 2
the difficulty level between maths 1 and maths 2 is not very wide
i sat for maths 1, maths 2 and chemistry
and i felt too much pressure in maths 1 as i had in mind that i had to score a perfect 50 in order to get 800
else the score would be straight fall to 770; too risky
but in maths 2; scoring 770 (atleast) is a piece of cake

about maths; if u can get 800 in PR's practice test, u will sure get a full score
about chemistry; practice a lot to balance the equations ; around 20 questions will be for balancing equations (i mean simple equations)
and if u r sitting in Xavier then first do the subject that u feel difficult so that if u have time pressure , u can easily give your time to this first section after u finish the next one before an hour

hey guys
if u r from BNKS then u will have a lot of benefits for applying in kenyon
they told that if the student is from BNKS then the kenyon is ready to take 2 or more applicants
i completely agree with neo
the above information is from the admission officer of kenyon

@BNKS8..
my sat2 went horribly ridiculous!!
i hope i get my scores rite in jan retest...

Hey xavierians, i think now its ur chance to grab Dartmouth and macalester.its already more than 3 yrs any xavierians had not been to these reputedly ranked college.so they will be waiting for us as kenyon cheers for BNKs/

can u approx. how many students try US each year???
SXC-- may b 120??(maxm)

can u tell me the individual scores in your SAT 2
and where a r u from? xavier, bnks.....???

@ ctrl forum
i haven't posted that if some college is not taking the student from a particular school it will look now
i have just posted what the admission officer told the passout of BNKS (college senior)
ur tone sounds like agressive

best of luck for macalester and dartmouth
but be sure that u get 1500+ composite score (Cr and maths) for dartmouth
last year, the accepted studene from BNKS had 1600 composite and 2320 in total
he had 3A,a and B in further maths; the most demanding course in A-Level
ranked:within 10%

@BNKS8
have u taken sat already?
watz ur score??

WOW!!! it definitely feels good to be bak!!!! what are you guys upto????

best of luck to all you 2013s out there.................for the EDs that is................
