@puredreams09
than k u but i was wrong last time its 40/75 in physics and 50/85 in chemistry for what i was hoping for 700*3=2100.
Raw score of 36 would give 700 in maths II -that's ok and in rest of subjects,any other CC users just guess- coz i have listen that scoring 800 is much easier in Physics and maths and then chemistry-from that perspective - i hope 700- guys plz calm me.

@everyone who takes SAT I and SAT II-good luck for your SAT scores .By the way how was the difficulty of questions this time.

@puredreams09
how's ur SAT I bro

@ctrl forum
never thought a lot about these test scores as for ur raw score u wud certainly get 700 in each subject - i hope so-just compare with collegeboard score conversion table of subject tests and u wud get a little point higher than that its for sure

@I will be in IB
nice phrase -" wastage of saturday morning for SAT- i agree with u. lol!!!!!

Guys now lets start doing this from Nepal

1) the first work is :"Listing ED decisions from specific colleges,ED deferment ,rejection and financial aid amount.

2)Secondly lets go for listing safety colleges and chances of admission with almost full aid over there

3)List A colleges for B+ students (B+ means students who have strong academic transcript,ECA but low SAT and toefl scores)

So lets begin with Xavierian,BNKS and others.....................

i didn do ed...

yaya i know i m stupid

:(

Hey ppl...im messed up, to be honest. I got low score in my SAT (nov 1st)
CR: 510
M: 650
W: 540

Toefl: 100

I would like to study computer science(wid lots of aid...sake samma..i mean) so which college should i pursue?? I gave SAT I again in december (yesterday) but aint hopeful wid it either. I have GPA 3.75 and have moderately good ECA stuffs...

Help would be appreciated.
:)

@diwas
never mind - yes it's true that ur SAT scores are a bit low from than that moderately competitive college asked for, but it's not that only SAT scores wud determine the chances of admission- and be happy that there are 800 colleges and universities in USA that do offers SAT optional policy including highly ranked one like Middlebury(SAT II can replace SAT I),franklin n Marshall,Dickinson,Gettysburg(not sure though) and many more.Just give ur a day or two, to search those colleges .

If i was in ur place, i would go for SAT optional college and colleges with SAT scores range 1130 to 1280----------------anyway -best of luck for ur new scores.

Are u Xavierian or ,,,,,,,,,,,from BNKS?

bowdoin, bates and wake forest are also sat optional.
and can anyone recommend me colleges that put high emphasis on SAT1 but don't need SAT2.

@MITScholar
Thank you. But Im not planning to give SAT II exams. So Franklin and Marshall, Dickinson..are out of the list (perhaps).
Well here's a cliche question, how to search for universities which has range from 1130-1280 as u mentioned? Any link..? Search engine perhaps??
Im frm xaviers'.

@gramblingscholar

for everyone's information grambling state university is a noncompetitive historically black college that is doing spot admissions in Nepal. i would recommend it to everyone on CC.
and i'm still looking for colleges that emphasize SAT1 but don't even recommend SAT2

what significant difference does a historically black college has?...apart from most students being black....
