I send emails to Franklin and Marshall and Dickinson, with my SAT marks. Lets see what they have to say.
Since guys here are sayin that collegeboard is not trustworthy, where do I search for the college accepting my range of SAT?

main ta u have to see the college website n they will mention how much important SAT actually is..

a good site may b sparknotes.com....dey list d important factors (sat,essay,gpa,high school course rigor..etc) for particular colleges...i dunno if its reliable though..

the most reliable resource for requirements is the college's official website. for example, gram.edu.

@all the girls in the forum,
Anyone up for Women's colleges like Holyoke, Smith, Wellesley, bryn Mawr??

Who plans to apply to Grinnell?

i plan to apply grinell (in all seriousness). heard they had special nepali scholarship or something.

Hello, BNKS12, it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help solve another member's problem, or just join a conversation?

btw florida Agricultural and mechanical college offers upto full scholarship fo SAT above 1300....it's a hostorically black college

and university of cinccinati is very generous in terms of merit scholarship for int'ls

University of Cincinnati may be generous ,but if everyone apply there i know it will accept most of us and our fund would be divided by total funds/ number of applicants.

@diwas
prefer any sites u like - don't go for other recommendations- after all u can search the sort of college that can match u- i recommend everyone don't act for other advices- just take the advices and do it on ur own- don't compare his/her SAT scores with others- that's all

@everyone
i think historically black means about 80 % of the students are black and only black,There is one Howard University(Harvard University for black-as it is said)- it offers scholarship to students above SAT scores 1220, above 1300 has good facilities and above 1400 has extra ordinary stipend too - but that's black institution.a fine safety though---------------

does a historically black college has any disadvantage to us nepali\international students??

i claim that there won't be more than 5 applicants to Brown coz Brown does offer admission with aid but not so much aid to not more than 1 or 2 stds from each nation. am not ambitious of being into brown. i have most of the liberal arts college -highly ranked of which include Lafayette,Trinity,Union,Furman,Gettysburg and so on.I haven't think of safety yet.
