I didnt write the name of my high school coz I thought no one has heard of it...
neways its Sagarmatha H.S.S (im pretty sure most of you right now are like .. what? where? huh?..).. its in Pokhara </p>
<p>and for the concept abt how only BNKS, RBS, SXC, MALPI get into top notch US uni's - I think that the reason for that is that only the people from those high schools apply to great colleges.. while the others (who have the potential to get into a elite uni), dont have any idea abt the unis and the admission process and etc etc so they take the refuge of consultancies...
But information is travelling and more and more nepali students are getting informed (at a very slow rate though)...</p>

Don’t sweat it people… keep your eye on the prize and I'm sure you’ll get in a college where you’ll have the best years of your life..

Wow… people this was a heck of ride… the admission process was totally frustrating.. it was like hell on earth ..every second of the whole process my mind was filled with thoughts either about my essay or something or the other to do with the application.. I'm so glad its over.</p>
<p>After all the hell hole I’ve been thru, here are a few things I learnt about it all –
1.Have fun with your application. Don’t stress over it too much… now that’s its over I really wish I didn’t get all worked up about everything.</p>
<p>2.Grades and scores are all important but they’re not everything… coz I was intimidated when I looked at sites like college confidential and everyone seemed to have near perfect SATs and 5A’s. You don’t have to have 5A’s and 2300 + on your applications to get in to a top notch college.</p>
<p>3.Try to show some PERSONALITY!! Most of you, I'm sure, have got stellar academics and scores so don’t bore them with more info about how killer your scores are and what a great student you are.. Instead show them that you’re a fun person with bit of oomph.. not just another applicant with killer grades and scores... </p>
<p>4.And if there’s any low grades/scores or anything else that’s not up to the mark in your record… address them properly. I had average grades in my 1st year National Examinations coz I was genuinely sick so I asked my principal to write about how my health affected my grades in my recc letter and I really think it helped… And if u think there’s something really important that your teacher should write in your recc letter then ask them to include it.. btw, the TR is a really really important part of your application.</p>
<p>And one last thing don’t boast about the college to much.. they don’t wanna hear about how great they are but they wanna hear how great you are…so tell them why you wanna b apart of that institution but remember that there’s a fine line between telling the adm officers why you’ve chosen that college and being fake (i.e. sucking up to them)

k ho tyatro college payera ni afno stat khulayenau ta- common write abt ur SAT scores,toefl scores,GPA, and personal essay.aba ta bhanera kehi hunna ni -ki timlai pani ghamanda ko bhoot chadhyo.just give us a frame of your personal essay-topic, narrative/descriptive,theme,complex/simple vocabulary,length etc</p>
<p>and wat u wrote was all nice but sabai sunisakeko -aru kehi extra tips deu na -SAT scores kam hune harulai but acdemics ra ECA ramro hunelai.anyway badhai chha-naya kura sunna payo -last yr ra yespali pokhara bata dami college paayo-</p>
