I got wait listed at Buffalo (university). Not entirely surprised as my stats were a bit low for them and everyone applied there! Disappointed though. Didn’t think I would go there, but definitely wanted it as an option.

does anybody at all share my sentiment that this process has been completely ridiculous?
it’s becoming increasingly humorous to me the more i think about it.
relax guys, and just let things happen. You’ll end up exactly where you were meant to be, even if you dont initially like it :)

Yeah I def agree with these sentiments. I wasnt really into Swarthmore when I visited last year, but then it started to grow on me so I decided to apply. I didn’t think I would get in let alone as an early write (it was shocking), and now I genuinely love the school and what it stands for. The student there are what really sold me! Now that I’m in Swat, I do not really care about the other schools. I just pray I get a good financial aid package!! lol

Agree! Will be writing a book when this is over! : )

Waiting on a few more schools…

ACCEPTED:
UChicago: got in EA, and one of my top choices, so hurray!

Bard: safety, and I’m not particularly surprised I got in, but I don’t hate it.

Lewis and Clark: safety, applied before visiting and really didn’t like it when I did. Gave me lots and lots of $$$ though.

UMD-CP: safety and financial safety, so hopefully the economy will stop messing with me and I won’t have to go here…

Wesleyan (the CT one): just got an early write last week, another top choice, so hurray again!

Waitlisted: none so far!

Rejected: none so far… waiting patiently for my rejection from Brown.

Waiting:
Brown: all factors point to no way in hell.
Oberlin: I think I’ll get in, but who knows?
Reed: I love Reed. Another one of my top choices. Think I’ll get in, but am not willing to be disappointed, so am trying to force myself to expect a rejection.

This last week is a bit like torture. My concentration is shot, and I’m trying to push it all out of my head - thinking about it isn’t going to make decisions come sooner - but it’s much easier said than done… Eh. Fingers crossed. I’ve got UChicago and Wesleyan already, so I’m not too worried either way, especially since I don’t actually have a concrete first choice. Pretty much a tie between UChicago, Reed, Wesleyan and Brown right now, and I’m liking Oberlin more and more.

Your post is 3/23 and you say you were accepted to Cornell already? How is that possible.
