Class of 2013 STATS PLEASE (International students or Out-of-State)

<p>Hey guys.
First of all, I'd like to congratulate those of you who got into UCLA class of '13.</p>

<p>I have a question for those who got accepted and do not live in California.</p>

<p>1)What were your stats? 2)How many APs did you take? 3)Are you an IB diploma candidate? 4)What were your extra curriculars like?5) What do you think really grabbed the attention of the admission officer in your essay? 6)Were you confident that you'd get in before you applied?</p>

<p>Work Experience:

  • Paid intern at the world’s largest media-marketing firm. Worked on KFC campaign
  • Teaching 12th graders mathematics as a teacher (short-term) in a good school.</p>

  • To start my own designing and graphics business.</p>

<p>Essays:

  • Life in a village, the capital of a developing country and a developed country + how it has made me want to work for people.
  • Second essay about how people initially thought I was crazy doing research about sound energy and how I persevered through!</p>

<p>Yup… so that’s basically my whole application… actually, it’d be nice if other internationals could post up here too… it’s better than having to hunt it down in the regular decisions thread (cuz internationals and OOSers are quite few around here!!</p>
