So weird. I just got into Johns Hopkins, too haha. I was also accepted to NYU and BC. I think what hurt me the most was that I literally didn’t show any interest. Oh well.

Vonegutted, I’m the same way. I think that’s why. I haven’t heard from NYU yet, and I just got rejected from USC. We’ll see.
Who is staying on the waitlist?!

If I was bitter, I’d call it Tuft’s Syndrome. But meh, I am so happy with the other schools I got into; it’s like being sad you were offered cake instead of pie.

I completely sympathize with you guys!! I saw that I was waitlisted and I was like…ok then… I guess I will just have to choose from Northwestern, WUSTL, Swarthmore, or Middlebury. Classic Tufts syndrome for us lol

Hahah holy crap. So many waitlisted kids in the same position. Oh well, looks like I’ll just force myself to enjoy the second best writing program in the country at JHU . It sucks since I liked Emory but you can’t have it all? Haha. Good luck to you all.

Do you think it really is Tufts syndrome? I was also waitlisted at Emory, and I’ve been accepted to MIT and Duke already. But I also showed little to no interest in my Emory app (generic “Why ___ University” essay). This is making me worried about tomorrow’s decisions…

I tried responding to the wait list offer on the waitlisted students website…and my email is not recognized?? The page was updated today march 30…so it should be working.

And there was no link provided in my wait list letter…it was really short and said further info will be provided within the next week…

has anyone tried to respond to the wait list? Thanks!

did you receive a financial aid package from Emory college this afternoon after you found out about your decision? because my D was waitlisted and also got a financial aid package…

my D got waitlisted 4 times and rejected 1 and accepted 4( to safeties). we are very frustrated tonight! she is staying on the waitlists and will sign into one of her safety(better be safe than sorry) on May 1st. Maybe something good will come put during April? who knows?
