^ Sorry, but that is not nearly competitive enough for MIT - especially coming from an extremely competitive region. MIT almost expects internationals coming from Asia to have awards in international science olympiads and/or ISEF (along with 2400s on the SAT IIs, >2200s on the SAT Is, and 110+ on the TOEFL). Even then you might not get in.

yeah, you are right but I called my application competitive not because of my score but because of my versatility (though the former would have been more stupendous). Frankly, not only was I one of the top ranked students in my school I were also one of the best female actor, dancer, speaker, singer and presenter. Even got the school's award for the STUDENT WITH BEST SCIENCE APTITUDE this year. Was Indian envoy to Egypt in a global classroom last year, presented my school at Model United Nations, did International Theater and stuff. Even participated in International Science Olympiad which was superb(but unfortunately couldn't get the result 'cause of some stupid mistake of my school authorities while submitting my answer documents!!!). Also considering the acceptance rate of girls is much higher then that of guys ~27% thought I would do it. Now I realize I should have given importance to getting good SAT scores rather then tabulating a stack of my national and international level extra curricular activities. All my decisions and preparations were hasty and I didn't even arrange for a counselor. The main glitch was not appearing for SAT1. But I know there must have been some 1500 more deserving candidates who were arrant nerds and I am kind of glad that they got a chance over me. :) {Now its time to get over it, I have to prepare for my finals now!}

I want to go to Yale!!

Oh Lord, I do!

Believe me you will. Believe.

I also believe I will go to Yale ;p
Not likely, but what else have I got than this belief.
I hope we will all go to Yale :)

I go to Yale everyday :)
Of course in my dreamz

In my heart, I am a Yalie.
Actually, I would be fine with whichever college...I could just transfer to Yale. I mean...I will get in eventually :)

@effervescentlove: wow ... that is some ruddy arrogance woman. calm down.

@Flid

Man is that easy to get transferred to Yale later on? and specially being an international candidate as well as being on financial aid?

well Yale is wat I admire and stanford as wel.. so please people, leave YALE for MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I want to go to YALE! Other IVY's or high ranked unis have never caught me to that extent as much Yale does, not even Harvard or Princeton.
Obviously MIT was but I didnt apply in the end.! I left MIT for YOU guys, so now please leave YALE for me..lol

adrivit dude i seriously don't understand why a girl is called "ruddy and arrogance" when she defends herself and a guy doing the same is called assertive. I didn't even write anything crude! I feel dejected.

I love your attitude flid but I don't want to 'eventually' get in. I want to get in like.... NOW!!!

@ MindHunter
Thanks for sparing Princeton for us. LOL! Incidentally (and personally) I haven't even applied for Yale and Stanford. But I hope you succeed in your endeavor. Good luck! :)
