well I am going to be a junior. I wish I had started worrying about all this college stuff as an 8th grader… that way when I got accepted into an IB school… I wouldn’t have backed out. Now all I do is school work and I still want more classes and more work so that I can be on top. There is nothing wrong with getting a kick out of your future and doing your best to help it… and my arguement as my friends are perpetually commenting on the “enjoy life” subject… learning /can/ be life. At least for now.

Nothing that I know of.

True, though mostly irrelevant to the topic at hand.

Hi, I’m ThisCouldBeHeavn.

Nope.

I have no control over the width of my cranium, sorry.

Oh, and welcome to the Internet. Don’t take yourself too seriously.

Whether 8th graders should be posting on HSL.

They’re not in High School either.

I feel like a creeper.

i’ll be graduating college when you graduate highschool…

yah I thought this was for us seniors who will be college 2013.

hahhhahahahah prep school is even worse.

For all I care, you could continue to live under the impression that getting into Exeter is hard, I have never approached Exeter, nor do I ever intend to go to a Prep School, yet I’ve received countless handwritten letters from directors at the school asking me to come…

Yeah I too will be in high school next year. It is my first post and I have not been active on the ‘Prep School Admissions’ because I am already in one. otherwise, I probably would have joined as member here earlier.

touche Millancad. I have nothing against public schools, seeing as I currently go to one and have attended public schools since kindergarten. i think its great that you are enjoying your public school and i myself would have gone to a public had i not applied to one prep school.
okay, ThisCouldBeHeavn, my post was not directed at you. I dont care if you tell non high school ppl to get off, but I have read some threads where ppl said that caring bout school meant you had no life
StevenSeagal- i got the reference (dont know who wouldnt get it though)

btw, i like the high school life page better. its more interesting than the prep schools admissions page and I can tell the people are more mature.(i have always gotten along with kids older than me, seeing as i have older siblings)
hope you don’t mind having me here

Hahaha this thread is funny. Full of kids trying to act a little older and be happy they’re entering highschool, and then highschoolers patronizing them for going to prep schools. Who the hell was bragging about going to prep schools? What is this…a little insecurity? Why the sudden rush to defend yourself and your public school against some 13 year olds?

Some people really do need to get this stick out of their ass…This is too funny.

Those elitist public school kids always make me angry!!!

i’d like to point just ONE thing out. HSL posts don’t count as actual posts, HSL is considered like one big cafe. Since most of my posts have been in PSA, it looks like i have waaaaay more than you. But if most of yours are in HSL, you just THINK you have less. That’s why Grayson’s posts showed up as “0”.

Furthermore, I only make a few posts a day (if any). Except for right around M10, when I was on constantly.

P.S.- I am simply a 13 year old girl who is excited about the amazing educational opportunity (way better than my local public high school) that I have been presented with, and I am eager to be on HSL, where I am sure NO ONE would have known that I was not in HS had I not said it. YOU, on the other hand, immediately jump on me for still being in middle school, and on the HSL forum, and therefore somehow an immature nerd that has no life.

Who are you talking to?

I’m going to be in high school this year Sept. I don’t know what to expect though… Just hoping it’s gonna be a blast! :D

“i like the high school life page better. its more interesting than the prep schools admissions page and I can tell the people are more mature”

roflmao at the more mature part. check out some of the postings that happen late at night.

I’m with you Izzy.

There is nothing wrong with looking to the future.

But if you turn around I’m right behind you I’m class of 2014.

Damn good luck to you Class of 2013 people. I am so happy I am graduating next year, DONE WITH HIGH SCHOOL!

huh…the thread was ressurected? oh well. i’ll go with it :)

Wow I didn’t realize no one commented for like a few months. Good job shuggie for finding this.

Good luck in private school, I go to one too, much better I think.
